Joseph James is an award-winning landscape architect, educator, illustrator, storyteller, and recipient of the 2022-2023 Fellowship for Leadership and Innovation through the Landscape Architecture Foundation. His project with the Fellowship combines his interests in youth outreach with his passion for cartooning to develop this graphic novel.   As one of the most powerful means to influence, teach and inspire, the graphic novel intends to use storytelling to introduce the profession of landscape architecture to a wider and more diverse audience and to attract and inspire the next generation of landscape architects.
